Willow Grading
Signature Grade
Our flagship grade of English Willow, all Signature grade bats are handcrafted from G1+ English Willow and make up less than 5% of our overall willow stocks. These blades usually feature a minimum of 8 grains, with minimal-to-no blemishing in the hitting zone. Signature grade bats may also include low density clefts offering a bigger profile at lighter weight ranges.
Pro Players Grade
All Pro Players grade bats are handcrafted from G1 English Willow and are the same blades that would be utilised by our professional players. These blades usually feature a minimum of 7 grains, with minimal blemishing in the hitting zone. Pro Players grade bats may also include low density clefts offering a bigger profile at lighter weight ranges.
Reserve Grade
All Reserve grade bats are handcrafted from G2 English Willow and offer exceptional value compared to our Signature and Pro Players grade bats. These blades usually feature a minimum of 6 grains, with minor blemishing in the hitting zone. Reserve grade bats may also include low density clefts offering a bigger profile at lighter weight ranges.
Performance Grade
All Performance grade bats are handcrafted from G3 English Willow and are our best-selling grade. Offering all the performance of a Neon Cricket bat, but at a budget friendly price point, these are the perfect bats for the everyday club cricketer. These blades usually feature a minimum of 5 grains and moderate blemishing should be expected in the hitting zone.
Club Grade
All Club grade bats are handcrafted from G4 English Willow and offer our best value for money bat. The perfect tool for the club cricketer wanting a bat that not only lasts, but also performs, the Club grade is a great low cost option for a high quality bat. These blades usually feature a minimum of 4 grains, with significant blemishing in the hitting zone.
Kashmir Willow
Our entry level Kashmir Willow bats are handcrafted from G1 Kashmir Willow and are designed as an entry level bat for those participating in either softball cricket or those playing in friendly low-level hardball matches. Kashmir Willow offers all the performance properties of English Willow, but generally won't have the longevity of an English Willow blade due to the growing conditions of the willow source, and thus we would advise against using these bats in league cricket to avoid damage.
